1. Meet in-person

Jen uses professional swatches to explore your natural tones - your unique blend of skin, eyes, and hair - in a way that feels easy, comfortable, and friendly.

2. Discover your personal colour palette

Jen reveals your place in the 12 seasonal palettes, helping you find the neutrals and colours that make your natural tones shine.

Try out your palette with real fabric swatches, seeing in real time how the right colours can transform your look.

3. Leave with clarity & confidence

Knowing exactly which colours work for you, you’ll feel confident in the shades that feel perfect for you and truly make you shine - ready to use colour with ease in your life.

About Jen

Jen has always had a deep love of colour. After 20 years as an artist, becoming a colour consultant was the perfect fit - a way to share that passion and help people shine.

She lives in Sheffield with her husband and two children, and loves spending time outdoors - hiking, running, swimming, or tending her allotment full of tasty homegrown vegetables.

Jen delights in helping others discover their unique beauty, and training with the Colour Guru Academy gave her the perfect tools to guide people toward the shades that truly make them shine.

Whether through her art or her colour consultancy, Jen’s approach is all about confidence, joy, and celebrating individuality.

How long is a session?

A one to one consultation usually takes around 90 minutes, giving us plenty of time to explore your natural tones and your personal palette.

Colour for two is 90 minutes shared between you.

With group colours each person will get 20-30 minutes depending on group size.

Where do sessions take place?

One-to-one consultations are held at your home, making it easy to include a wardrobe review.

Group sessions can be hosted at a participant’s home or another location of your choice.

How far do you travel for a home visit?

I'm happy to travel within 30 minutes of S6 4AP.

Do you offer online consultations?

Yes! We can do a consultation via Zoom where I’ll analyse your colours and help you discover your seasonal palette.

Sessions last up to 60 minutes.

Can I have a fake tan?

It’s best to avoid fake tan for the session unless it’s something you wear all the time, as we want to see your natural skin undertones.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself! It’s helpful to wear a simple top in a neutral colour so we can clearly see your skin tone, hair, and eyes.

Should I wear make-up?

It’s best to avoid foundation or blusher so we can see your natural undertones clearly.

You’re welcome to wear mascara is fine, and if you choose eyeliner, stick to black or brown.

Who can benefit from a colour consultation?

Everyone! Colour consultations work for all ages and skin tones - it’s about discovering what makes you shine.

Do we need natural light?

Natural light is helpful, but not essential.

Jen also has a lit mirror with adjustable temperature lighting, so we can work anywhere and at any time of day.

Can we have an evening with wine & friends and get our colours done?

Absolutely! Group bookings are perfect for this.

You or a friend can host the evening, and I’ll guide everyone through discovering their colours.

Do you do Hen Parties?

Yes! Hen Parties are a fun way for groups of friends or family to discover their colours together.
